Gerald (Jerry) Wilson left this earth to be with his Lord and Savior on September 8, 2003.He was born July 22, 1942 in Brigham City, Utah to Dale Wilson and Dolly Alexander Wilson who preceeded him in death. He lived in Brigham City until age 10 then came to Shallowater, Texas to finish his education. He moved to Midland in September of 1970 and met and married Peggy Ray on March 18, 1971. For over 20 years he worked in the resturant business as a manager, supervisor and owner of several businesses, his favorite being Kentucky Fried Chicken in Yukon, Oklahoma from 1973 until 1976. He retired in December 1988 due to illness.Jerry is survived by Peggy, two sons and daughters-in-law, Jerry Don and Tonya Wilson , and David and Alicia Wilson; one daughter and son-in-law Katheryn and Trey Farmer all of Midland ; one sister and brother-in-law Dee Ann and Bob Haberstrok of Lubbock and one brother and sister-in law, Don and Lavella of Oklahoma and an aunt, Jerri Stewart, and cousins of Lubbock. He is also survived by 13 grandchilden among whom are Dalton and Gavin Farmer and Joshua, Johnathan and Carly Wilson all of Midland.Special blessings and gratitude go to Ida Dorn, Jeanette Frantz, Gloria Kendrix and Cherri Barker for the precious care given to Jerry during his illness.Please direct memorials to Home Hospice, 901 W Missouri, Midland, TX 79701.Services will be held ________________________Arrangements under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Midland.,
