Beloved Husband, Father, and Grandfather Gerald Franklin Hubbard, 67, of Midland went to be with the Lord on November 9, 2016. Visitation will be Sunday, November 13, 2016 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home in Midland. Funeral services will be held Monday, November 14, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Chapel with Brother John Gerlach, officiating. A graveside service will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.Gerald was born on June 8, 1949 in Kermit, TX to Herbert \Hub\ and Geraldine Hubbard. Gerald loved fishing, hunting, going to Las Vegas, going to Ruidoso, watching the Dallas Cowboys, and spending time with his family. He worked at Linco Electromatic Inc. for thirty plus years before retiring.Gerald is survived by his wife, Christine Hubbard, son, Carl Hubbard, son, Donnie Hubbard and wife Shannon, son, Russell Hubbard and wife Cristal, daughter, Karen Hubbard, daughter, Sybil Carby and husband David; brother, Johnny Hubbard and wife Debra, niece, Juleigh Hubbard Wall and husband Leman, nephew, Marty Barrett and wife Shannon, aunt, Virginia Hubbard; granddaughters, Kari, Kasi, Summer, Ericka, Katie, Amanda, Jessica, Kinzey, grandsons, Jason, William, Patrick, Brandon, Jordan, Skylar, Kyle; great granddaughters, Kyndall and Kinsley, and great grandson, Nathan.Gerald is preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Geraldine Hubbard, sister, Katherine Sue Barrett and husband Jim, sister-in-law, Janice Hubbard, uncle, Lloyd Hubbard, uncle, Earnest Hubbard, brother, Carl Franklin Hubbard, and granddaughter, Abigail Hubbard.The family would like to express their gratitude towards Dr. Randall Rosenblatt and the staff of Baylor Medical Center and UT Southwest in Dallas for their excellent care they provided to Gerald during and after his lung transplant in 2007. We would like to thank everyone for their prayers, well-wishes, and support that they have provided to Gerald and his family.,
