Long time Midland resident, George Lyle Wilson died February 1, 2008 in the Hospice Unit at Midland Memorial Hospital.A private memorial will be held for the family only.George was born February 23, 1928, in Valley View, TX to late parents, Ruel and Lena (Lyle) Wilson.He is survived by his wife, Eretta Wilson of Midland; sister, Ruelene Wilson Claycomb of Edgewood, TX; 3 sons, 1 daughter; 8 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren and several nieces, great nieces, nephews and great nephews.George is a member of First Baptist Church of Midland.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Hospice of Midland at PO Box 2621, Midland, TX 79702, First Baptist Church Building Fund, 2104 W Louisiana, Midland, TX 79701 or the charity of your choice.A special thank you to all the wonderful caregivers of Hospice Midland, especially Richard Beebe, for the special care and support given from their hearts to all of our family members.
