When I think of George I think of laughing. I worked with George in the carpenter shop at the VA. George always had some kind of mischief going on. He never failed to make you laugh. George loved to have fun and he loved to pick at people. His photograph here says it all. George's big smile and laughter will stay with me always. Dale Rumley

I wish you all peace during this difficult time. I understand losing someone so dear to everyone he ever came in contact with is difficult. When I first started at the VA and felt completely lost, George would always have a nice word to share and some funny jokes just to make me smile. He had such a wonderful personality and kindred spirit. I know that I have felt a void since his retirement from the VA and will always remember the way he could put a smile on anyone he came in contact with. You will all be in my thoughts and daily prayers during this time.
