Geneva Turner, 84, of Denison, formerly of Big Spring, died on Saturday, September 27, 2008, in a Denison hospital. Graveside funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, October 1, 2008 at the Peace Chapel at Trinity Memorial Park in Big Spring with Dr. Randy Cotton, pastor of Trinity Baptist Church, officiating.She was born on April 23, 1924, in Bristow, Oklahoma and married Lee Turner on November 10, 1954 in Winfield, Kansas. He preceded her in death on March 23, 1998.She came to Big Spring in May of 1965 and moved to Denison in April of 2007. She was a beautician, a seamstress and loved camping. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church.Survivors include one daughter, Linda Stratton of Denison; two granddaughters, Shelly Phillips of Missouri and Dorlene Dodd of Bowie; four great grandsons, four great great grandchildren; one sister, Edna Hiland of Enid, Oklahoma; and three brothers, Barney Calvert of Mineral Wells, David Calvert of Illinois and Raymond Calvert of Ft.
