Gary James Miears, Sr., 73, of Big Spring, passed away on Saturday, May 29, 2021. Visitation will be from 4:00pm until 7:00pm Thursday, June 3, 2021 at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00pm Saturday, June 5, 2021 at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel.

He was born on November 7, 1947 in Big Spring, Texas to Doris and Effie Miears. He is a veteran of the United States Navy.

He is survived by his daughter, Kimberly Carnegie and husband Shawn, 16 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Bonnie Miears, and son, Gary James Miears, Jr..

Arrangements are under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home and Crematory.
