Gary Cagle, 66, of Big Spring, died on Sunday, January 4, 2004, in a Midland hospital. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, January 7, 2004 at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel, with Paul B. Keel, Jr., officiating. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park.He was born on November 17, 1937, in Gorman, Texas and married JoAnn Jones on April 11, 1959, in Stanton.Gary was a longtime resident of the community. He worked 36 years, as a conductor, for T&P and Union Pacific Railroads. He loved restoring antique tractors. He was a member of Oasis Church of Christ.Survivors include his wife, JoAnn Cagle of Big Spring; one son & daughter-in-law, Dee and Jackie Cagle of Keller; one daughter & son-in-law, Cathy and William McDaniel of Kennedy, Alabama; one brother & sister-in-law, Bud and Marva Cagle of Odessa; one sister & brother-in-law, Agatha and Jim Thomasson of Clyde; one grandson, Randy Hudson of Dallas; three granddaughters, Jennifer Hudson of Fayette, Alabama, Brittney and Courtney Cagle both of Keller; one son-in-law, Wayne Hudson of Fayette, Alabama; one sister-in-law, Darlene Cagle of Carbon; and numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends.He was preceded in death by his parents, Rupert and Mayme Cagle and one brother, Joe Cagle.The family will receive friends, January 6, 2004, from 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM, at the funeral home.Family suggest memorials to a Hospice of choice.Arrangements under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Big Spring.
