Hello to all the Shaw family. I have just discovered the remarkable story of the birth of triples in 1936. This happened during a genealogy search of the Lewis Family Tree. I believe we are fifth cousins as our Great-Great grandmothers were sisters in Clermont County Ohio. If you would like to explore this together please be in contact with me on email caskeyfamily@gmail.com. The connection is (on your side) Angeline (Lewis) Bennett, daughter Sarah (Bennett) Peterson, granddaughter Anna Angeline (Peterson) Shaw to yourselves. My lineage is Rebecca (Lewis) McRoberts, daughter Anna (McRoberts) Prickett, granddaughter Fay (Prickett) Floetker, great grandson Louis Floetker, great great granddaughter Luanne (Floetker) Caskey. Angeline and Rebecca were sisters with ten other siblings, the children of Charles Lewis & Elizabeth Short. Charles is the son of Ann Main Lewis & Samuel Lewis. He died of smallpox and she raised her family alone with the help of neighbors Chapman Archer and Squire David White in the late 1700. She died in 1834. I hope a member of your family will be interested. In 1959, Harold Jones compiled a booklet of the Lewis Family in which all of our names are included. I was 3 months old and my (maiden) name is misspelled. Your family is shown in section #8-A-9; mine is #7-L-2. As I am attempting to update the tree I hope this reaches you and that someone is interested in making the connections. Please give my best to Roosevelt Shaw. It must be hard for him now. Sincerely, Luanne Caskey
