Frank Lloyd Sickles, 58, of Big Spring, died on Sunday, February 10, 2013, in a Midland hospital. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at the First Christian Church, Big Spring with Dr. Ken McIntosh, officiating. He was born December 10, 1954 in Socorro, New Mexico to Lillian and George Sickles of Datil, NM. Frank married Laura Cassady August 5, 1978.He attended New Mexico Military Institute for two years before going to Eastern New Mexico University where he received his Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Master's Degree in Marketing. He and Laura moved to Texas in 1983. He retired with the Big Spring ISD and went to work at Wal-Mart until illness prevented him from working. He was a member of the First Christian Church, where he served as an Elder. Frank served as the Board President of Isaiah 58, a local food pantry, which is affiliated with the First Christian Church of Big Spring.His survivors are his wife of 34 years, Laura Sickles; two brothers, David L. Sickles and wife, Linda of Albuquerque, NM and Mickey L. Sickles and wife, Belen of Mesa, Arizona and seven nieces and nephews whom he loved very much.Frank was preceded in death by his parents, Lillian and George Sickles.
