I know this is long overdue, but I am so truly saddened by the loss of Aunt Frances. She was the kindest, gentlest, most generous and loving person I ever knew. What I remember most is her smile; it seemed like she was always smiling!

We know in our hearts that Frances is singing in the Great Choir this morning. We express our sympathy for the loss of your dear loved one. She and Shirley, my sister, were friends for so very long, it was almost like she was my sister too. God Bless

I am smiling and crying as I remember Frances or Fran-lui-la-Peche as Lorinda and I used to call her. Whenever Jack and Frances would visit us TCU, I could always count on a smile, a hug, and engaging conversation, usually about family. It was easy to connect with Frances because we had a lot in common: Lorinda, a love of music, and our West Texas ties. Over the last twenty years, we did not see each other very often but when we did, her sweet spirit always warmed my heart and took me back to my college days. Lorinda and Jack, I am so sorry for your loss. I wish I could be there to comfort you, be comforted, and celebrate her life. Love, Al Dee

Dearest Lorinda We hold you so very close to our hearts and so we offer you our prayers for faith, strength and love. I never had a chance to meet your mother, Frances, but I am sure that she was a great West Texas lady and I know that you are her shining light on Earth . Maya Angelou summed it up best about Mom's: "To write about my mother would be to write about a hurricane and it's perfect power". Lorinda-you are your mother's masterpiece-full of grace and kindness-so carry forth knowing that she smiles down upon you as her legacy lives on through you. Love, John, Marguerite, James, William, and Mary Catherine Westfall
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

We are so sorry for your loss. I enjoyed talking with Frances over the years. She and I had a few things in common and I enjoyed talking to her about our Military husbands and the crazy schedule that this life can bring. I liked to listen about her experiences and get to know her better. You both are so dear to us. We love you as neigbors and friends. I will miss her beautiful smile and easy spirit. She will be missed but fondly remembered. Jack, we are praying for you and thinking of you. We are here if you need anything. Our love and prayers, Janet, Hal, Hal jr. and Will Degenhardt

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths." Proverbs 3: 5-6 Dear Jack and Lorinda, This specific verse from Proverbs has helped me through some very tough times, because it reminds me that we just need to give it all up to God, and He will always see us through. It's not an easy thing to do in times of distress, and His guidance may not always be what we want, or what we expect, but I trust it will always be what He thinks we need. I know that He is with you both and your family right now, and that Frances is right there with Him, watching over everyone. She is a beautiful person, and now a beautiful angel. My family wishes to extend our deepest sympathy, and if you need anything, remember that we are just next door. Love, Debbie Henk
