There was not a day in Floyd's life that he did not glorify and serve the Lord. He was a special person who touched so many lives. He always had a smile on his face and cup of coffee in hand. He also spent much of this time at the Veterans House of Hope and assisted Veterans in finding their own homes. He also served as caretaker at Moss Creek Lake for eight years.Floyd was involved with the American Business Men Club, Veterans of Foreign Wars; he was a member of Signal Mountain Emmaus Community and also the Taco Villa Men's Coffee Group. He enjoyed everything he was involved in. His smile, gentle touch and sweet spirit will be missed.Floyd married his soul mate, Gail Maxwell, on June 17th, 1956 in Ardmore, Oklahoma.
