Flossie Burnam, 95, of Stanton, died on Thursday, August 9, 2001in a in a Stanton hospital hospital. Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Sunday, August 12, 2001 at First United Methodist Church in Stanton with Rev. Skip Hodges, pastor officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, in Stanton. She was born on August 25, 1905 in Louisiana and married Henry Clayton Burnam, Sr. in March of l923 in Stanton. He preceded her in death in December of l971.She was a member of the Eastern Star, Royal Neighbors and First United Methodist Church in Stanton. Survivors include one son, H. C. Burnam of Irran; one sister, Sammye Laws of Stanton; one brother Ladd Laws of Andrews; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by three brothers and one sister. Arrangements under the direction of Gilbreath Funeral Home.,
