Felipe Saiz, 40, of Big Spring, died Wednesday, June 19, 2013, from injuries received in an oil field accident. Vigil services will be at 7:00 PM, Friday, June 21, 2013, at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 6:00 PM, Saturday, June 22, 2013 at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel.He was born June 16, 1973, in Big Spring, Texas and married Tina Britton August 30, 1996 in Big Spring, Texas and had been together 23 years.Felipe was a lifelong resident of Big Spring and graduated from Big Spring High School, where he played football for the Steers. He had worked at the Big Spring State Hospital and San Angelo State School. He was currentlly working as a derrick hand in the oil field.He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church.Survivors include his wife, Tina Saiz of Big Spring; three daughters, Ashley Saiz and husband, Frankie Reyes, Marissa Saiz and Bethany Saiz all of Big Spring; a granddaughter, Jaylin Reyes; his mother, Josephine Saiz of Big Spring; four brothers, Jesse Saiz and wife, Martha of Lubbock, Robert Saiz, Ernest Saiz and Ricky Saiz all of Big Spring; two sisters, Mary Martinez and husband, David Rivera and Precilla Domino and husband, Mike all of Big Spring; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Ernesto Saiz; and two brothers, Frankie Saiz and Jose Luis Saiz.Arrangements under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Big Spring.
