F. H. "Hank" Williamson, 62, of Big Spring, died on Monday, February 18, 2008, in a Midland nursing home. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM Thursday, February 21, 2008 at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel with Rev. Ken McMeans, pastor of College Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Wednesday, at the funeral home.Hank was born on August 3, 1945, in Duncan, Oklahoma. He came to Big Spring in 1951, and served in the United States Army from 1964 to 1966. He married Sandy Stives on July 4, 1967, in Big Spring. Mr. Williamson was a self-employed contractor for many years. He enjoyed whittling and playing the guitar. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. Hank loved being with his family and his grandchildren. He was a member of College Baptist Church.Survivors include his wife, Sandy Williamson of Big Spring; two daughters and sons-in-law, Kelly and Joe Zant of Vealmoor and Amy and Tom Webber of Big Spring; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Elizabeth and Bob Miller of Seymour and Janice and Tom Reeves of Christoval; six grandchildren, Carlie, Zachary, Seth, and Cade all of Big Spring, Zane of Odessa, and Skyler of Vealmoor and one great granddaughter, Katie of Big Spring. Mr. Williamson was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Hattie Williamson and one brother, Russell Williamson. The family suggests memorials be made to Compass Hospice, 1003 E.
