Evelyn Ray Love Dennis, 78, of Big Spring, died on Monday, December 17, 2007, at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, December 20, 2007 at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel with Rev. R.T. Havener, pastor of First Assembly of God and Rev. Sam Segundo, pastor of Family Faith Victory Center, officiating. Graveside services will be at 3:00 PM Thursday, December 20, 2007 at the Sunset Memorial Gardens, Odessa.The family will receive friends from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.She was born on August 14, 1929, in Howard County, Texas and married Troy Love. He preceded her in death in 1985. She then married Burl Dennis on May 10, 1997.Evelyn had worked for the City of Big Spring and at State National Bank before moving from Big Spring. She returned to Big Spring in 1994. She was a member of the First Assembly of God.Survivors include her husband, Burl Dennis of Big Spring; one son, Dan Love and wife, Carla of Odessa; two granddaughters, Dana Love of Lewisville and Amber Ruse and husband, Chris of Odessa, three great granddaughters, Temple, Maydee, and Madison; one step daughter, Merlee Walter and husband, Jonathan of Cedar Park; two step grandchild, Justin McWethy and Moriah Walter; one sister, Merle Haney of Big Spring; one niece, Gina Franke and husband, Don of Coahoma; one nephew, Stanley Haney and wife, Ileen of Luther; a special cousin, Laverne Atwell of Big Spring and many more relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Curtis and M.H. Ray; one son, Lindy in 1975 and three grandchildren.The family would like to thank Home Hospice for the loving care provided to Evelyn and her family.The family suggests memorials be made to Home Hospice, 111 E. 7th, Suite A, Big Spring, Texas 79720.Arrangements under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Big Spring.
