Eva Sanchez, 69, of Midland, died on Saturday, May 31, 2008, In a local hospital. A rosary will be held on Tuesday June 3, 2008 at 7:00 PM at St. Stephen's Catholic Church. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, June 4, 2008 at the St. Stephen's Catholic Church Midland with Father James P. Bridges , officiating. Interment will follow at Serenity Memorial Gardens Midland.Eva was born on March 10, 1939, in Big Spring, Texas to Simon Chavez and Benigna Gonzalez Chavez. Eva married Freddie Sanchez on October 25, 1958 in Big Spring, Texas. She was a member of St. Stephen's Catholic Church . .Survivors include husband, Freddie Sanchez of Midland, Texas; son, Freddie Sanchez, Jr. of Midland, Texas; daughter, Carolina Terrazas of Midland, Texas; daughter & son-in-law, Sandy & Joe Vela of Midland, Texas; brother, Julian Chavez of Big Spring, Texas; brother, Simon Chavez, Jr. of Lubbock, Texas; grandchildren, Freddie Sanchez, Edmundo Sanchez, Eleno Sanchez, Ted Terrazas, Megan Terrazas, Marcus Terrazas, Amber vela and Thomas Vela.Eva was preceded in death by her mother Benigna Chavez and one brother Eleno Chavez.
