Eva Ellen (Walker) Nall, 93, of Big Spring, passed away on Wednesday, October 22, 2003, at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, October 25, 2003 at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel with Rick Cunningham, and Royce Clay, officiating. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park in Big Spring.She was born on September 29, 1910, in Howard County, Texas to Owen and Nellie Walker and married Raymond Lewis (Poncho) Nall on November 11, 1927 in Colorado City, Texas. He preceded her in death on February 11, 1965.She lived in Lamesa until she was nine years old and moved to Dove Creek, Colorado, later returning to Lamesa in 1924. Eva graduated from Big Spring High School in 1928. She was employed by Montgomery Ward Department Store for nine years and later worked for Cunningham and Philips Drug Stores as bookkeeper and office manager for 20 years. At the age of 55, she opened the Big Spring Health Food Center and ran it until she retired at the age of 83.She served on the Beautification Committee for the Chamber of Commerce and was active in the American Business Women's Association, the Credit Club and the Organic Gardening Club. She loved to garden organically and work in the yard. Mrs. Nall loved people and helped many in various ways. She will be greatly missed by family and friends.She was a member of 14th and Main Church of Christ. Mrs. Nall was a woman of deep religious conviction and taught teen-age girls in bible classes. She paid for bible courses for area students at Lubbock Christian University and Abilene Christian University.Survivors include three daughters & sons-in-law, Betty Ray and Max Coffee of Big Spring, Sue Nell & Wayne Truxal of Georgetown, and Lou Ann & Paul Baker of Burke, Virginia; a niece whom she reared, Frances Flournoy and husband, Silas of Crosbyton; grandchildren and their families, Brent and Kimberly Clifton, and daughter, Morgan of Dallas, Susan Truxal of The Woodlands, Randy and Cindy Truxal, and their sons, Luke and Matt of Denison, Mark and Claudine Truxal, and their son, Noah and daughter, Taylor, of Phoenix, Arizona, Lisa and Brian Bosley, and their daughter, Lauren and son, Josh of Burke, Virginia, Nancy and John Vaught and their sons, Jonathan and Hunter, and daughter, Autumn of Springfield, Virginia; a great niece and her family, Stacy and Tom Mann and their daughters, Emily and Amanda of Lubbock; a great nephew, Stephen Flournoy of Ft. Worth and his son and dughter, Justin Parrish and Destiny Alvarado; step grandchildren and their families, Debra and Dale Jones and their sons, Mathew and Luke of Odessa, Cary Max and Christi Coffee and their son and his family Calyn and Stephanie Coffee and their daughters, Cadence of Elmendorf Air Force Base, Alaska and Cailey Coffee of Lubbock, Kim and Steve Phillips and their son Jake and daughter Lenise of Dumfries, Virginia and Penni Coffee and her son Micah of Brady; and many relatives including a special cousin, Laura Duke of Americus, Georgia. Her father preceded her in death in September of 1955, her mother in 1918 and a brother in April of 1968.The family will receive friends from 6 PM to 8 PM Friday at the funeral home.In lieu of floral tributes, donations in her memory may be made to: The Children's Home of Lubbock, P.O.
