Memorial services will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2014 at First Baptist Church Chapel at 1:00 PM in Midland.Eva was born on December 10, 1925 to Carol and Eva Barton in Dallas, TX. Eva graduated from Midland High School. She married the love of her life, Mal Kidwell in October of 1947. Eva was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family and friends, but most of all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Eva loved life to the fullest. She was a genuinely bubbly person that always wanted to make people feel welcome.Eva is survived by her son, Danny and wife, Laurie Kidwell of Midland, TX; sister, Betty McDearmon of Atlanta, GA; daughter-in-law, Suzanne and husband, Congressman Mike Conaway of Midland, TX; grandson, Randy Kidwell of Norman, OK; grandson, Ryan Kidwell of Midland, TX; granddaughter, Kara and husband, Brian Bell of Ft. Worth, TX; granddaughter, Stephanie and husband, Rob Marshall of Abilene, TX; and two great-granddaughters, Conally Bell and Emily Bell of Ft. Worth, TX.She is preceded in death by her husband, Mal Kidwell and son, Randy Kidwell.The family appreciates the loving care by all the staff and caregivers at Manor Park, Poppy Flowers and Hospice Midland.In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be donated to Manor Park, 2208 North Loop 250 West, Midland, TX, 79707; Hospice Midland, PO Box 2621, Midland, TX, 79702; Alzheimer’s Association, 4400 N.
