Eulah B. Godwin, 93, of Big Spring, died on Sunday, March 1, 2009, in a local hospital. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, March 4, 2009 at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel with Rev. Dennis Teeters officiating. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park.The family will receive friends from 6 PM to 7 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.She was born on July 11, 1915, in Bowie County, Texas and married T. J. Godwin on July 11, 1936 in Texarkana, Texas. He preceded her in death on February 2, 1998.Eulah came to Knott in 1936 and had worked in the school cafeteria at both Ackerly and Klondike, retiring in 1989. She moved to Big Spring in July of 1998.Survivors include two daughters, Charlotte Holcomb of Lamesa and Doris Wink and husband, Charles of Alamogordo, New Mexico; two sisters, Penny Copeland and Wilma Stephens both of Big Spring; four grandchildren, Randy Holcomb, Kelly Holcomb, Russell Wink and Melynda Weddle; and nine great grandchildren, Heather Holcomb, T. J. Holcomb, Lacey Lloyd, Zack Weddle, Sharee Layton, Kristi Wink, Samantha Holcomb, Marshall Hardman and Jameson Hardman. She was also preceded in death by her parents; nine brothers and sisters; and a son-in-law, Mike Holcomb. The family suggests memorials be made to a favorite choice.Arrangements under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Big Spring.
