Eula Mae Rogers, 88, of Big Spring, died Wednesday, May 29, 2013, in a local nursing home. Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, June 1, 2013 at the Peace Chapel at Trinity Memorial Park with Rev. Calvary Callender, officiating.The family will receive friends from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Friday, May 31, 2013, at the funeral homeShe was born May 19, 1925, in Cushing, Oklahoma and married Sig Rogers April 5, 1947 in California. He preceded her in death June 23, 1998.Mrs. Rogers was a \Rosie the Riveter\ in California during World War II. She came to Big Spring in the early 1950's. She taught Sunday School for many years and was an artist. Mrs. Rogers was a quiet woman and her family was most important to her. She especially enjoyed being with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.She attended First Church of the Nazarene.Survivors include a daughter, Sharon Rich and husband, Robert of Big Spring; two grandsons, Troy Rich and wife, Sharon, and their children, Matthew and Brian of Midland, and Kevin Rich and wife, Pamela and their children, Nathan, Morgan, Bailey and Jacob of Dripping Springs; and Nathan's mother, Amber Rich.She was also preceded in death by her parents; one son, Steve Rogers; one sister; and one brother.Arrangements under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Big Spring.
