She was married to Thomas Vance Armstrong, her high school sweetheart for 47 years. They moved to Big Spring, Texas in 1979 after Vance retired from El Paso Natural Gas. She was a member of Philadelphia Primitive Baptist Church.She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas V. Armstrong; daughter, Wanda Bunger; grandson, Frederic Armstrong; brothers, John, Ray & Willie Bell; and sister, Mattie Brown.She is survived by her son, Thomas J Armstrong and wife, Carolyn of Las Vegas, Nevada; son-in-law, George Bunger of Ozona; grandchildren, Helen Bean, Louis Bunger and wife, Tammy, Tracy Spigener and husband, Ray, Shari Valentine and husband, John and Shane Armstrong; and great grandchildren, Wesley, Ryan and Kimberly Bean, G. L. and Kristin Bunger, Sierra, Miranda & Raymond Spigener and J. T. Valentine.Visitation will be Sunday, May 21, 2006 at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home in Big Spring, Texas from 5-6 pm. Services will be held Monday, May 22, 2006 at Philadelphia Primitive Baptist Church in Big Spring, Texas at 1:00 pm followed by interment at the Westbrook Cemetery, Westbrook, Texas.Arrangements under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Big Spring.
