Estill Park, 88, of Big Spring, died on Monday, June 3, 2002, in a local hospital. Funeral services will be at 10:30 AM Thursday, June 6, 2002, at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel with Rev. Ken McMeans, minister of College Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Olive Memorial Park. Mrs. Park was born on November 1, 1913 in Jack County, Texas, and married Henry Park on March 9, 1935 in Sterling City, Texas. He preceded her in death on July 7, 1977. Mrs. Park had been in the Big Spring area since 1925.She was a member of College Baptist Church. Mrs. Park loved her kids and grandchildren and also loved sewing. Survivors include four sons and daughters-in-law, John and Pepita Park of Crystal River, Florida, Fred and Diane Park of Lubbock, Roger and Linda Park of Big Spring, and Steve and Judy Park of Forsan; ten grandchildren, Greg Park, Bruce Park, Doug Park, Kyle Park, Kelly McDaniel, Lori Speck, Kevin Park, Jenny and Shane Sayles, David Park, and Cade Park; and nine great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Eva Nelle Park. The family suggests memorials to: Buckner's Children's Home, P.O. Box 50872, Midland, Texas 79710, or to Meals on Wheels, P.O. Box 765, Big Spring, Texas 79721-0765. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Wednesday, at the funeral home.
