Estela Trowbridge

Estela Trowbridge, a vibrant and adventurous spirit, passed away on December 25, 2023, at the age of 92. With heavy hearts, we mourn the loss of a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend. Estela lived a life filled with joy, laughter, and a love for exploration.

Born on April 11, 1931 in El Paso, Texas, Estela embraced life’s adventures with open arms. Alongside her loving husband Arthur, she embarked on countless journeys around the world. They spent a remarkable year in Italy while Arthur worked for People’s Express, immersing themselves in the rich culture and delighting in the experiences they shared.

Estela had a passion for the bright lights and excitement of Las Vegas, Nevada, where she found joy in the thrill of gambling. She had a fondness for a glass of wine, especially while relishing in cruises alongside her daughters, Teresa and Ellen. These moments of togetherness brought her immeasurable happiness.

In recent years, Estela discovered a peaceful haven in Panama City Beach, where she immersed herself in the beauty of “beach life.” Walking along the sandy shores and basking in the warmth of the sun brought her a deep sense of tranquility. She adored attending Todd Herendeen’s Elvis Shows, her love for Elvis Presley eternal.

Estela will forever be remembered by her children: Teresa Graham, Richard Hoffman, Cynthia Bautista, Ellen Clifton, and William Grannis; she also leaves behund 10 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. She leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and an unwavering sense of adventure.

Estela was preceded in death by her two sons, Louis Hoffman and Keith Hoffman; she joined the love of her life Arthur Throbridge in heaven.

A graveside service will be held, at 9:00 am, Friday, January 5, 2023 at Resthaven Memorial Park to honor and celebrate the incredible life Estela lived. Please join us in bidding our final farewell and sharing cherished memories of Estela.

Though our hearts ache with grief, we find solace in knowing that Estela’s spirit will live on in the hearts of those she touched. May she rest in peace, forever remembered as the adventurous soul who embraced life to the fullest.
