Esperanza "Hope" Levya, 84, of Big Spring, died on Sunday, January 6, 2008, in a Lubbock hospital. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, January 9, 2008 at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel with Deacon Johnny Arguello, officiating. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park Big Spring. A vigil will be held Tuesday at 7:00 PM at the Nalley Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel. She was born on June 6, 1923, in El Paso, Texas.She was a Catholic.Survivors include one sister, Luz Rios Leyva of Los Angeles, California; one nephew, Jorge Morales of Grand Praire; her special friends and caretakers, Vanessa and Gary Austin of Big Spring; and numerous other famiy members. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, one step sister and her step mother. The family suggests memorials be made to the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 508 N.
