Emma Jean Walke, 82, died Wednesday, January 10, 2013 at Christus Santa Rosa Hospital in San Antonio, Texas. She was born June 27, 1930 in Red River County, Texas to Charlie Barns and Eula Mae Venus Pryor. She married James Weldon Doyle in 1946 in Clarksville, Texas. He preceded her in death on October 10, 1987 in Stanton, Texas. She married Robert Walke in Stanton, Texas. He preceded her in death on August 31, 2012 in Levelland, Texas. Survivors include sons, Curtis Weldon Doyle, Eddie Carl Doyle of Fannet, Texas, daughters, Evelyn Nan Reynolds of Lubbock, and Deborah Gay Veitch of Nederland, Tx, as well as eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and husbands as well as a son, James Barry Doyle in 1975 and daughter Linda Ann Alldredge in 1991. Jean was a homemaker who lived in Stanton, Texas for many years, raising her family there. After the death of her husband James, she continued to live in Stanton until her marriage to Robert. They made their home in Levelland until his death. She then moved to Bulverde, Texas to live with her grandson, James Richard Foresyth and his family. Visitation will be Monday, January 14, 2013 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Gilbreath Funeral Home in Stanton, Texas. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at Evergreen Cemetery, Stanton, Texas, conducted by Jeans best friend, the Rev.
