I was sorry to read of your father's death in the Avalanche Journal. I know that you loved him very much and you will surely miss him. I have been without my father for 25 years and there is always a memory of him. Let me know if there is anything I can do for you here in Lubbock. Liz

They did not even go into how greatly he was involved in his church. He was such a good man and we all know he is sitting on the right hand of God now. This was one of the few remaining Gentlemen left. He will be greatly missed.

Elvin was one of the nicest men I have known and a true joy to have as a neighbor. Everyone who lived on this floor as well as in this facility will miss his gentle spirit and the christian example he lived.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

Carrie just read the obituary. She said she remembers LaPosada. That was some of the best times ever. We miss being with you all. Elvin was a kind, gentle person with a kind word for everyone. I'm very proud he was my uncle. I love you, Dena
