Elsa Garcia Padilla, 57 of Midland, passed away on Sunday, November 23, 2025. The Funeral Mass will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 29, 2025 at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Midland, Texas. A viewing will be held on Friday, November 28, 2025 from 12:00-7:00 p.m. at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home in Midland, Texas. A Rosary will be held on Friday, November 28, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home in Midland, Texas.

Elsa Garcia Padilla was born on February 14, 1968 in Midland, Texas to Manuel and Celia Garcia. She was married to Orlando Padilla for 38 years. She had two daughters, Miranda and Mikayla Padilla. She loved dogs, and throughout her life was mom to many including Sasha, Hurricane, Duncan, Ginobli, Hazel, Piper, Maddie, Maddox, Sky, and Splitter. She was also the track mom to many students at St. Ann’s School & Trinity School in Midland, Texas.  Elsa loved reading romance books, running, doing cross-stitch, shopping in Dallas, going to weekly breakfasts with her husband, and watching scary movies with her daughters. Elsa touched the lives of everyone she came across and was loved by many. She was and always will be unconditional love.

Elsa is survived by her husband, Orlando Padilla; her daughters, Miranda and Mikayla Padilla; her father, Manuel Garcia; her siblings, Diana Nielsen, Erasmo Garcia, and Yolanda Carrasco; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Elsa is preceded in death by her mother, Celia Garcia, and her brother, Oscar Garcia.

The family would like to express their gratitude towards Hospice of Midland, family, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

Pallbearers will be Ricardo Palma Fraga, Kyle MacPhee, Brandon Sanchez, Noah McIntosh, Ramon Vasquez, Austin Ornelas.
