Elmer "Glen" Baldwin, 60, of Stanton, died on Wednesday, October 21, 2009, in Midland County. Graveside funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, October 24, 2009 at the Evergreen Cemetery Chapel with Rev. Tony Conner, pastor of Faith Country Church and Carol Clark, officiating.The family will receive friends from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday at the funeral home.He was born on January 28, 1949, in Idabel, Oklahoma and married Doris Gossett on July 2, 1971 in Huntsville, Arkansas.Glen had worked in the oilfield most of his life. He was a very hard worker and could fix anything. He loved his redheaded grandson, guns and shooting. Glen was a member of Faith Country Church. He loved his church and was a giver.Survivors include his wife, Doris Baldwin of Stanton; his daughter, Stephanie Baldwin of Houston; his son and daughter-in-law, Steven and Michelle Baldwin of Stanton; one grandson, Alex Baldwin of Stanton; his mother, Ina Mae Parsons of Broken Bow, Oklahoma; two sisters, Freda Hutchison of Ft. Worth and Mary Ann Sizemore of Hindsville, Arkansas and one brother, Robert Baldwin of Lincoln, Arkansas.
