Ellen K. Horn, 66, of Big Spring, died on Thursday, August 23, 2001, at her residence. Graveside funeral services will be at 1:00 PM Monday, August 27, 2001, at the Peace Chapel at Trinity Memorial Park. She was born on October 6, 1934 in Leinstrand, Norway and married Everette J. Horn on November 16, 1964 in Kaiserliuten, Germany. He preceded her in death on April 19, 2001. Mrs. Horn came to Big Spring in 1965. She had worked as a waitress at Herman's Restaurant for many years. Survivors include her son, Klaus Quernheim of Abilene; three grandchildren, Michelle Murphee, Michael Thompson and Kristina Quernheim all of Big Spring; 6 great grandchildren and one sister and one brother. Arrangements under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home.,
