Elizabeth Liz Green Farrow

Elizabeth “Liz” Green Farrow, 96, formerly of Big Spring, passed away Tuesday, May 9, 2017 in Bonham, Texas. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, May 20, 2017 at the Ector County Cemetery in Odessa.Mrs. Farrow was born April 23, 1921 in Runnels County, Texas and was married to Warren A. “Bud” Farrow for 55 years at the time of his death May 4, 1997.Mrs. Farrow lived in Big Spring since 1951 and served as a Federal Employee of the Department of the Air Force from 1941 until retiring in 1977. She was the Civil Service Budget Officer at Webb Air Force Base in Big Spring from 1956 to 1977. Upon retiring, she and Bud relocated to San Angelo. In 2010 she moved to Bonham to be closer to family. Mrs. Farrow is survived by sister-in-law, Vivian Green; four nieces, Sondra Eaves and husband, Jerry, Tana Baldwin and husband, Doug, Edwynna Phillips and husband, Eddie, Davi Heintz and husband, Lynn; two nephews, Bill Lee and wife, Iris and J. D. Green and wife, Debi; and a cousin, Rosemary Jones and husband, Rufus.In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and three sisters.Arrangements under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Big Spring.
