Vic, Sandi and Susan, and families: We are so sad to hear of your mom's death. I have so many nice memories of being at your house all those many years ago. It hardly seems possible that so many years have passed. Vic, you and Betty were always so nice to me. I truly enjoyed being at your house. You two always made me feel like another daughter. I remember your house on St Clair, and how close to ours it was. I remember the house on 1st Ave, and how new it was, and the wild strawberries that Sandi, Susan and I would pick in one of the neighboring lots. I remember parties at your house, eating supper with you guys, Betty showing me how to play a card game. I remember getting stuck in a snowstorm my first year of teaching, when Don was overseas in the Air Force, and winding up in your driveway on Harmony Dr, because it was the only road plowed. I stayed at your house till around 10 or 11PM, when the roads were finally plowed. Truly a haven in the storm. We will be thinking of you all and you will be in our prayers. Please accept a long-distance hug. Love, Kathy and Don Zaumeyer
