Elizabeth Boag, 89, of Midland, passed away on Friday, July 21, 2006 in a local hospital. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM Wednesday, July 26, 2006 at the Polo Park Chapel in Midland with Rev. Terry Easley, officiating.Elizabeth was born on October 30, 1916 in Lewiston, Maine.She was an avid reader, loved to do crosswords, cryptograms, and at Polo Park she was greatest at calling bingo numbers. She read her bible every day.Survivors include her daughter, Gayle Locke of Walpole, Massachusetts; a grandson, Earl Locke, III of Chapel Hill, North Carolina; a brother, Grant Conant of Alpine; and a sister, Norma Newmeyer of North Carolina.Arrangements are under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory.
