Elijah “Eli” Ray House, 12 of Midland, passed away on Sunday, October 23, 2016. The family invites all friends and family to gather from 6:00pm-8:00pm on Friday, October 28, 2016 at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin at 11:00am on Saturday, October 29, 2016 at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Chapel with burial at Serenity Memorial Gardens. Following the graveside, the family asks that all guests return to The Branch at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home for a reception. In honor of Eli’s love for the Dallas Cowboys, the family has asked that those in attendance please wear Cowboy’s jerseys or Cowboy’s colors to the service.Eli was born on September 6, 2004 in Odessa, Texas to Summer Puckett and Eddie House. He has lived with and been raised all of his life by his grandparents, Joe and Jamie Plasencio that he lovingly referred to as “Momo and Popo”. He was a loving and outgoing boy who loved sports. He played football and baseball and he loved skateboarding and scooters. He was an outstanding student who excelled at school and was not scared to try new things. Eli could master whatever he attempted. He was a loving grandson, son, and a great big brother.He is survived by his grandparents, Joe “Popo” and Jamie “Momo” Plasencio; Summer Puckett “Mom”; father Eddie House; grandfather Guy Puckett “Big Papa”; siblings, Aleyah Olgin and Izayah Olgin; great-grandparent, Kenneth Casteel; great-grandparents, Rita and Tony Gonzalez; grandmother, Yolanda House; several loving uncles, aunts, and cousins; and numerous friends. The family would like to express their gratitude towards their many friends and family that have done so much during this difficult time. They would also like to express their appreciation towards the first responders and emergency room staff at Midland Memorial Hospital. Pallbearers will be Colt Puckett, Jarrett Johnston, Bradon Johnston, Joe “Boy” Plasencio, Jr., Oscar Plasencio, and Mark Johnston.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the benefit fund for Eli House at Amarillo National Back c/o Justin Loe.,
