Elfrieda Schwartinsky Findley was born August 6, 1910 in Lorena, Texas to Gustav and Mary Schwartinsky.She married Felix Oran Findley on March 2, 1930 and they had two daughters, Katherine Louise and Joyce Marie.Oran preceded her in death in 1958 and she lost Katherine in 1975.She lived in and around Waco until 1986 when she moved to be near her daughter Joyce and her husband, George Tays.She is survived by her daughter Joyce and husband George Tays of Midland; her granddaughter Dianne and husband Chuck Frederick of Houston and her grandson Jackie Sawyer of Chicago; nine nieces and two nephews, several great nieces and great nephews and some great-great nieces and great-great nephews.The family will receive friends at Wilkerson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home in Waco on Sunday, February 1, 2009 between 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm.Graveside services have been scheduled for 10:00 am on Monday, February 2, 2009 at Rose Mound Cemetery in Waco, Texas.Local arrangements are under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Midland. Faye Heacox was a very strong, dedicated Christian woman and was a very good example for her family and friends. She was also a very loving and kind person and will be missed by all that knew her. Her daughter, Pat, is one of my best friends and I love her dearly and I want Pat to know that I will always be here for her. Her other daugher, Danna, was kinda of a "pest".....but I love her also! I'm sure she has grown into a fine young lady that no longer "bugs' her older sister and friends! They both know how lucky they are to have had such a loving Mother. My heart goes out to all the family and my prayers are with each of them. God Bless you all.
