Flores, Eduardo Hernandez, Sr., 55, of Big Spring, died on Saturday, February 17, 2001, in a local hospital. Rosary will be recited at 7:30 PM, Monday, February 19, 2001, at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel lead by Enrique Martinez. Funeral services will be at 3:00 PM Tuesday, February 20, 2001, at the St. Thomas Catholic Church with Rev. James Plagens, Pastor, officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Olive Memorial Park. Eduardo was born on October 13, 1945 in Zacatecas, Mexico and married Irene Chavera on September 17, 1976 in Big Spring, Texas. He came to Big Spring in 1956 from Mexico and attended Centerpoint Schools. He farmed for many years and loved working outdoors. He was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church. Survivors include his wife, Irene Flores of Big Spring; one son, Edward Flores, Jr. of Big Spring; one daughter, Mary Helen Flores of Big Spring; his mother, Erlinda Flores; his father, Luis Flores, Sr. and his wife, Lupe; three brothers, Luis Flores, Jr., Johnny Flores and Tony Flores all of Big Spring; seven sisters, Marie Sepulveda of Phoenix, Arizona, Alicia Leon of Ardmore, Oklahoma, Mary Lou Yanez, Rosie Torres, Velia Ross, Lucy Rodriguez and Irma Flores all of Big Spring; two half-brothers, Martin Flores and Luis Flores both of Big Spring; three half-sisters, Mary Flores, Rosa Flores and Letty Flores all of Big Spring; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one nephew, Jimmy Yanez. Arrangements under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home.,
