Edna Lerma was a caring mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She left this world suddenly due to cardiac arrest on January 28, 2024 at the age of 55. She was met in heaven by her parents Marcus and Julia Lerma as well as her brothers, Albert, Joe and Rudy Puga.
Edna was born on September 1, 1968 in Big Spring and attended Big Spring High School. She was a free spirited person who enjoyed helping take care of others and making people smile. She was also a huge dog lover to all of her yorkies.
She is survived by her daughter, Annissa Lerma, and grandson, Ezra Lerma, of Dallas, Texas. She also left behind her companion Santos Mendoza Jr., a niece Melissa Curry and husband Chris Curry of Austin Texas, two nephews Mario Puga and wife Sandra Puga and their two kids of Austin, Texas, Robert Gonzales and wife Andy Gonzales and their four kids of San Diego, California.
Relatives and friends are welcome to join us in celebrating her life at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel on February 2, 2024 starting at 9am. A rosary will also be held that evening at 7pm. Her services will be Saturday, February 3, 2024 at 11am.
