Earl was born on October 20, 1935 in Bethany, Oklahoma to Edgar Allen Moize and Lou Ada Jarvis. In his early years he was raised on a farm outside Rotan/Jayton with his 4 brothers and 2 sisters. He surrendered his life to follow Christ in 1948. Earl joined the Army in 1953 and was honorably discharged after 8 years of service. He married Hazel Waunell Medlock on December 17, 1954. His boundless energy, determination and dedication lead him to serve God at Tabernacle Baptist in Roswell, NM, 25th Street Baptist and Temple Baptist, all in Lubbock and Kelview Heights Baptist in Midland. Earl became an accomplished carpenter and created incredible works for hundreds over his 65 year career.
Earl is survived by his wife of 69 years Waunell Moize, his daughters Dee Lana & Ruthie (David), Sheila (Al), his sons, Dennis and Kevan, his granddaughters Stacy & Kristan, his grandsons Nathan, Devan and Paul Allen (Ruth) his sister, Edna Irene Mullins, 8 great grandchildren, 1 great great granddaughter and many nieces and nephews.
Earl is preceded in death by his grandson SSgt Jason Allen Reeves and son Warren and granddaughter Mandy.
The family would like to express their gratitude towards the many medical professionals at Midland Memorial Hospital and Ashton Medical Lodge. Earl was also blessed to be under the care of Dr. Mamoun Bashir and Dr. Joy Okwuwa.
