E.H. “Red” Hallmark, 90, of Midland, passed away on Monday, June 9, 2014. Red was born Ellis Harold Hallmark on November 21, 1923 in Dublin, Texas, to Wallace Ellis and Willie Hendricks (Sanders) Hallmark. He served his country as a Machinist Mate First Class in the U.S. Navy. Red married the love of his life, Norma Marcheline Adams, on July 17, 1945 in Dublin, Texas. He raised his family and made a career in Wink, Texas. Red was a District Foreman for Chevron when he retired in 1984 after 37 years of service.\tRed is survived by his daughters, Melody Cassady and Theresa Davis; his brother, Joe Hallmark; 3 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; 1 great great-grandchild and numerous friends whom all loved and will miss him dearly.\tRed was preceded by his parents, Wallace and Willie Hallmark; his brother, Gerald Hallmark; and by his wife of almost 57 years, Norma Hallmark, who passed away on May 11, 2003.\tE.H. “Red” Hallmark will be laid to rest at a later date in the Live Oak Cemetery in Dublin, Texas.
