Drew Tyler Burkle, 26 of Midland, TX, passed away on Wednesday, March 24, 2021.

A visitation/memorial will be held from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Monday, March 29, 2021, in the prayer room of Stonegate Fellowship, Midland.

Drew was born on November 22, 1994, in Muncie, IN to Eric and Michelle (Selvidge) Burkle. He was raised in Delphi, IN and resided in Lafayette, IN until moving to Midland in 2020. He loved his family and friends and when he loved he loved hard. He was an old soul who loved music, especially the Beatles. He enjoyed the outdoors, playing sports, including competing in disc golf competitions.

Drew is survived by his parents Eric and Michelle (Selvidge) Burkle of Midland, TX, grandmother Anna Selvidge and late grandfather Eugene (Gene) Selvidge of Mt. Summit, IN, grandparents Steve and Linda Burkle of Linden, IN, extended family, Bill and Sonja (Selvidge) Thornburgh of Mt. Summit, IN, Eric Selvidge of Noblesville, IN, Jason and Andrea (Burkle) Goodwin of Lafayette, IN, Vince and Michele (Hill) Burkle of Fort Wayne, IN.

Drew is preceded in death by a Grandfather, Great-Grandparents, Great-Uncle and Great-Aunt.

Services and interment will be held at a later date in April at the Sproles Family Funeral Home in New Castle, IN.

Drew will be sorely missed, deeply loved and remembered forever.

My heart is broken for you both. I am so very, very sorry. You know he was such a sweet boy. May god wrap you in his arms for the rest of your earthly lives. God bless.

I do not have words. Drew talked to me only once in the last 8 years, but I still prayed for him regularly and thought of him frequently. If any of his beloved needs to talk, that's the best I can do for him now. 409.651.9737. Love you, Drew.

Eric and Michelle, I have been thinking and praying for you both since hearing of Drew’s passing. My heart is broken, Drew was one of my best childhood friends and continued to be my friend throughout my life. We could go forever without seeing or speaking and pick right off where we left off. We would bring up memories of being kids on North Street. He was one of the good guys with the biggest heart. He will be greatly missed.

I met Drew when he was 18💕 he would bag for me as I was cashiering at HEB, we very quickly became inseparable and he was at my apartment all the time, and when he got his own apartment, I was over there all the time. Fast forward almost 10 years later, I got him to apply for Natural Grocers and luckily, I got to work with my bestfriend one last time. I'm so grateful for all my memories and good times made with Drew. He will be loved and missed every day.

Drew will be missed by all his co-workers. He was an amazing person to work along side, with a big smile to greet me each day. I will miss you sweet friend.

Our hearts go out to drew’s family during this tragic time. We were friends of his from Lafayette and were deeply saddened to hear about his passing. We will cherish the good times we had with him and the many laughs we shared. Sending love, light and our deepest regards to the Burkle family.
