Dr. Graham Lantz, 77, of Midland, passed away Wednesday, June 15, 2011. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, June 18, 2011 at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Chapel in Midland with Rev. I met Dr. Lantz on a blind date around 2001 and we dated off & on for several years. He was funny, very optimistic, a great cook, and loved his Beagle dogs. He fought several cancers with a ferocity rarely seen. Graham & I would swap "war stories" as we'd both served active duty and enjoyed hours uncounted on this. He loved Belize. I knew his friend Bobby from Del Rio. I fell out of contact in the last year or so, which of course brings regret, but I will still hold good memories from a special friend always. God be with the family.
