Joyce, I was so sad to hear about Dennis passing. I still have his coca cola cake recipe, and my family loves it. Please let me know if there is anything you need. I know how much Dennis meant to you and I miss you terribly. You are a strong woman and I hate that you are going to have to take this burden. Please know that you are not alone.Tonya

I'm going to miss how Doc shared his thoughts and opinions in no uncertain terms. True to his nature, he often operated on his own terms, and spoke with unabashed candor. At times, he would follow up the next day with a sincere apology in order to make amends for these frank expressions - not that it was necessary or warranted - we all knew Doc's love for his work as well as his love for the people he treated. He was always good for an interesting quip or story if you could stall him long enough from his busy day. He had so much knowledge that he was willing to impart, and it wasn't always about medicine or recovery either. He was a brilliant mind and a beloved mentor to so many of us here at the Springboard Center. His mischievous half-grin and impeccable sense of personal style will be deeply missed, but always remembered. Peace and blessings.

Dennis was a lovely man. We spent a couple of Grandparents Days together with Hattie at her school. He was always smiling and very cheery and delightful to be around. We will miss him dearly at those and other family occasions.
