My heart was saddened in reading of Dr. Erwins death. He was a man of compassion and especially when it came to our 4 legged babies. He went far beyond his call of duty and one example was with my beloved pet Rocky who filled our home with delight for 16 yrs. I could not stand the thought of my pet who needed to be put to sleep shaking in fear upon entering the vets office and Dr. Erwin came to my home and put him to sleep on my bed which was where he was comfortable. I will never forget his act of kindness and will forever be grateful that he took the time from his busy schedule to do that.....but it was because he cared too. I know he has received his angel wings and his complete healing but he will be sorely missed by so many. He was such a great man and my heart breaks for his family and vet family because there will be such a huge void. My prayers are with all of you. Pam Sheehan
