Doyle Dolan, 75, of Big Spring, died on Wednesday, July 18, 2001, in a Crane nursing home. Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Monday, July 23, 2001, at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel with , Rev. Bob Gilpin, retired Nazarene minister officiating. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park. He was born on June 9, 1926 in Tucker, Oklahoma and married Juanetta Wood on July 12, 1947 in Big Spring. Mr. Dolan had worked in McCamey for Shell Pipeline and Oil Company until 1989, when he retired and moved to Big Spring. He was a member of the First Baptist Church . He was a Mason and had served in the United States Army in World War II. He also served on the school board in McCamey and the McCamey Chamber of Commerce. Survivors include his wife, Juanetta Dolan of Big Spring; two daughters, Jan Shepard Massey of Big Spring and Linda Wright of Fayettville, Arkansas; two sons, Jimmy Dolan of Midland and Robert Edward Dolan of Houston; two brothers, R.D. Dolan, Jr. of Sonora, California and Rudy Dolan of Big Spring; five sisters, Dema Thieme of Murphy, Oregon, Betty Gisch of Lubbock, Mary Lamb of Red River, New Mexico, Sue Riddle of Big Spring and Judy Nichols of Coahoma; eight grandchildren, Stephen Hamlin, Gregory Hamlin, Denisa Phelps, Krista Shepard, Casey Dolan, Marcus Dolan, Chelsey Dolan, Samantha Dolan; three great grandchildren, Danica Hamlin, Brittany Christian and Courtney Hamlin. He was preceded in death by parents and brother, Leroy Dolan. Arrangements under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home.,
