Dorothy May Thomas, 102, of Big Spring, passed away, Tuesday, March 11, 2025. Graveside services will be at 12:30 pm, Thursday, March 13, 2025 at Trinity Memorial Park.
Dorothy was born November 16, 1922 in Big Spring, Texas to parents Almus Henry (AH) Bugg and Mary Myrtle (Humble) Bugg. Dorothy lived in Tucumcari, New Mexico for most of her adult years as a rancher and farmers wife. She was a homemaker and a member of the 1st Baptist Church of Big Spring after returning home.
Dorothy is survived by her niece Susan McLellan and husband Larry, nephews Fred Green and wife Tammy, Kelly Green, John R. Bugg, her companion’s son Tom Rickabaugh and wife Rosa and numerous great nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Dane Thomas in 1974, long-time companion Homer Maxon Rickabaugh; sisters: Jessie McKinney, Almarie Wiliams, Evelyn Hauser, Ruth Morton and Joyce Green and her brothers Finnis Bugg and Henry Bugg.
