Dorothy Dooley Brenneman was born September 7, 1938 and passed away on June 22, 2023. She graduated from Uvalde High School, then attended the Universities of Wyoming and Arizona. She finished at Sul Ross State University where she met her future husband, John. They were married in July of 1960.
Dorothy was an administrative assistant for several years and taught school at Tornillo and Garden City for 33 years. She enjoyed dancing and water skiing. After 35 years of country living, they moved to the city in 2002. Upon retirement, she became an avid duplicate bridge player and achieved the rank of Ruby Life Master.
She is survived by her son John Dooley, and Cindy, and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband John Robert Brenneman.
