Marilyn I am so sorry about the passing of your mother. I did not see it in the paper and Mother just told me yesterday. Mrs. Phillips was always so nice to me and I enjoyed going into the Tomboy. I hope you are ok. Paula

Elmo was my cousin - his dad and my dad (Ray Phillips) were brothers. Although I had not see Dorothy Belle in many years I remember how friendly she was and how much Elmo loved her. I am sorry that I did not see the notice of her passing until now and that I missed her services. The Phillips family mourns her death but rejoices in knowing that she is reunited with Elmo and is now with the Lord.

Our Aunt Dorothy was a very gracious lady. My memories of her are from my childhood, but I remember that her house was always in perfect order, and she had many friends. My sisters, Karen and Kelle, were younger, but we all remember how nice it was to visit our Aunt Dorothy our cousins. We send our love and condolences to all those she leaves behind, She will be missed and remembered in our hearts.

So sorry to hear of your loss but we rejoice with you that she is now in the presence of our Lord and Savior. I Cor 15:54-57 When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come true: Death has been swallowed up in victory. 55 Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting? 56 The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. 57 But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Carol, I am so sorry about your mother. I did not know that your mother was still living. I know you will miss her. I was surprised to see how old she was, that was how old my Dad was when he passed away. Once in a while I check the obituaries and saw the article about her. You are in our prayers. Love, Lana & Fred
