Dorman Blackman, 67 of Midland, died on Tuesday, September 24, 2002, at his residence. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, September 25, 2002 at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Chapel in Midland with Rev. Bill Skaggs, officiating. He was born on February 8, 1935, in Anton, Texas and married Kat Browning on December 7, 1973 in Lovington, New Mexico.He was a veteran of the United States Air Force from 1952-1956 and was a graduate from Texas Tech University. Dorman was a chief financial officer for Elcor for eighteen years and retired in 1982. He was a certified public accountant and a Microsoft technical support analyst. He enjoyed wood working and photography and designed software since 1982. Survivors include; his wife; Kat Blackman of Midland, one son; Greg Blackman of Granbury, two daughters; Lyn Ellen Clary of Richmond, Nickie Sue Roberts of Midland, his mother-in-law; Elsie Browning of Midland, Step mother; Madge Blackman of Littlefield, Mother; Faye Mullen of Concord, California, four brothers; Donny Blackman of Lubbock, Gary Rushing, Darrell Rushing both of Washington State, Larry Mullen of California, one sister; Rene Sanchez of California; one brother & sister-in-law; Curtis and Carol Browning of Odessa, Rene ten grandchildren; Payton Blackman, Hunter Blackman, Bailey Blackman, Chloe Blackman, Claire Blackman all of Grandbury; Taylor Clary and Gunner Clary both of Richmond, Shawni Elkins and Cheyenne Elkins of McGregor, and Amie Mills of Lubbock. He was preceded in death by his Father; William Blackman.The family suggests memorials to Hospice of Midland.Arrangements under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Midland.,
