Doris Rae (Morrison) Smolko, 75, passed away on Thursday, December 20, 2007. Born November 7, 1932 in Federick, OK, she was a former Coahoma resident and most recently lived in Pasadena, TX. Doris graduated from Coahoma High School and attended Howard College. She had a career in civil service with the federal government and retired in 1999.Preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Alma Morrison, she is survived by her husband of 53 years, Michael B. Smolko, her three children Susan Hinton, Janet Paige and Michael Smolko III, one son-in-law, Rodney Paige and three grandchildren Nolan Paige, Lacey Hinton and Callie Paige. Also surviving her are two brothers Connie Morrison and Jack Morrison.Visitation with be Thursday, December 27, 2007 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Nalley Pickle Welch Funeral Home. The funeral will take place Friday, December 28, 2007 at 10:00 AM at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel.
