Doris Nell Pinard of Midland, TX went home to be with her beloved savior Thursday, July 15, 2004. She was born June 17, 1933 to Elige and Janie Jones in Coleman County. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 25 years, Blake Pinard, a brother, J.E. Jones, and a sister, Inez Jones. Doris is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Judy and Steve DeLong, Sherry and David Harrington, daughter, Jan Broomfield/McCarty, and son and daughter-in-law, Jay and Heidi Pinard, all of Midland, TX. Twelve grandchildren, Tim and Shawn DeLong, Kristin Villarreal and her husband, Robert of Midland, Chris Harrington of Hurst, TX, Tiffany and Joey Broomfield and Brad Carter of Austin, TX, Courtney Broomfield of Oklahoma City, OK, Jesse, Crystal, Zack, Tyler and Logan Pinard of Midland, TX. Four great-grandchildren, Ethan, Aiden and Lillian Thornton, and Ben Villarreal all of Midland, TX. Two sisters, Nelda Ford of San Angelo, TX and Joyce Lambert of Midland, TX. Two sisters-in-law, Karen Pinard of Midland, TX and Mary Overstreet and her husband, Morris, of San Angelo, TX. Aunts, Laura and Leora Swarengin and Bessie McClain of San Angelo, TX. Sixteen nieces and nephews and many friends.Doris was the best mother, mother-in-law, grandmother and great-grandmother in the whole world. She was always there to lend a hand to those in need. She led by example and was an inspiration to all those who knew her. A born leader, she was a pillar of our community and respected by all those around her. Doris was a devout Christian and the glue that bound our family together. She was a member of Kelview Heights Baptist Church, CBS Bible study, and a mortgage banker for many years. Doris was also a member of Texas Board of Realtors, TOPS, and a volunteer at Westwood Hospital.The family would like to thank Janette Frantz for the love, care and support that she showed to Doris, as well as to us. Doris has requested that memorials be made to the Hospice House of Odessa, 903 N Sam Houston, Odessa, TX 79761. The family will receive friends and relatives for visitation at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home Sunday, July 18, 2004, from 3:00 until 5:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 9:00 a.m., Monday, July 19, 2004, at Kelview Heights Baptist Church with Reverend Jerry Berry officiating. Graveside services will be held immediately following the funeral at Resthaven Memorial Park Midland, TX with Brother Bill Skaggs officiating.,
