Doris Louise Hall, 80 of Stanton, died on Sunday, August 31, 2003, in a Big Spring hospital. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, September 3, 2003 at the Evergreen Cemetery Chapel with Rev. David Harp Pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating. She was born on March 4, 1923, in Mitchell County, Texas and married M. D. Hall on October 12, 1940 in Loraine, Texas. He preceded her in death on October 15, 2001. Doris had a love for quilting, gardening, plants and decorating her home. She had a love for her family and had a special love for her grandchildren, and always had an interest in their activities. She was a Methodist. Survivors include her son & daughter-in-law, John & Debi Hall of Lubbock; her daughter & son-in-law, Donna & J.T. Springer of Lenorah, her sister, Bessie Ann Vaughn of Loraine; her brother & sister-in-law, Johnny & Helen Price of Sweetwater; 4 grandsons, Tommy Lee Turner, Tyler Springer, T. Springer, Josh Hall; 4 granddaughters, Vicki Houston, Angie Hall Trout, Ellesa Gailey, Amber Wernli; 7 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her parents, her daughter, Sandra Ann Turner, three brothers and one sister. The family suggests memorials to a favorite charity.The family will receive friends Tuesday, September 2, 2003 from 6 P.M.-8 P.M. at the funeral home.Arrangements under the direction of Gilbreath Funeral Home of Stanton, Texas.,
